Hoyt Arboretum Friends (HAF) is a membership-based, nonprofit organization working in partnership with Portland Parks and Recreation to support Hoyt Arboretum.

HAF Board member minimum expectations:

HAF Board members are expected to attend at least four board meetings, an annual retreat, major events and special meetings – a minimum of 60% attendance is required. Members are expected to serve on at least one Board committee, advocate on behalf of the Hoyt Arboretum, help with fundraising and make an annual financial contribution to HAF. The Board meets bimonthly on a year-round basis for approximately two hours.
