BPA Earth Day

Description of BPA volunteers working in the Arboretum on Earth Day.

Earth Day 2007

Bonneville Power Administration Volunteers

Dan Moeller, Hoyt Curator, estimates the volunteers of the Bonneville Power Administration spread over 60 cubic yards of gravel on 1,200 feet of trail and dispersed over 75 cubic yards of mulch around trees and shrubs.  He also estimates that BPA volunteers cleared ivy from over 50 trees and that all the beds around the Visitor Center and in the Holly Collection were cleared of weeds.
