Do you have a favorite tree or view at Hoyt Arboretum?   Or a story, poem or observation about the Arboretum that you would be willing to share?

We are seeking your help in gathering photos and other material to add to Hoyt’s website and photo database.   We are especially interested in:

 
~ photos of collection trees and plants (if they are labeled they are part of the collection)

 ~ close-ups of specific features such as needles, leaves, bark, flowers, cones and fruit

 ~ weather-dependent views

 ~beautiful vistas with the Arboretum

 ~ field notes, poetry, stories and observations about your experiences at Hoyt Arboretum

Submit your photos on disk at the Visitor Center or mail to 4000 SW  Fairview Blvd., Portland, OR  97221.  You may e-mail pictures up to 1 MB,  stories and poems to svolkman@ci.portland.or.us.
