How to Make a Reservation
Instructions on how to reserve the rental facilities at Hoyt Arboretum.
Reservations for the Stevens Pavilion and the Wedding Meadow can be made either through Parks Reservations 503.823.2525 or through the Arboretum Visitor Services Manager, 503.823.1649.
Reservations for the Bill deWeese Classroom can be made only through the Arboretum Visitor Services Manager, 503.823.1649.

~ Wedding permits are issued for the current calendar year only. Reservations are taken beginning the first business day after the New Year and are processed on a first come first served basis. Picnics and other events can be scheduled beginning the first week in March.
~ A non-refundable application fee is required to reserve a facility (see rental fees)
~ All rental fees and deposits must be paid in full in order to receive a permit.
~ All unpaid fees will be required no less than 30 days prior to your event.
~ If you are making a request within the 30-day period you will be required to pay all fees when the reservation is made.
~ Upon payment of all fees and deposits and the receipt of proof of insurance for the serving of alcohol (if applicable) you will receive a packet with:
1. Your permit. This is proof you have reserved the facility and should be on-site and available for review during your event.
2. A reservation sign. Post this sign at your site as early as possible so that other park users are aware the site is reserved. If there is no permit, picnic/wedding sign or proof of payment on site for a facility.
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your permit at any time. Refunds are only issued when the permit and additional signs and passes are received in the Reservation Center or Arboretum office before the scheduled event. When these items are received a refund may be issued under the following guidelines:
~ If your permit and additional signs and passes have been received in the Reservation Center or Arboretum office 72 hours or more before the scheduled event you may receive a full refund of all but the Application Fee.
~ If your permit and additional signs and passes have been received in the Reservation Center or Arboretum office 72 hours or less before the scheduled event, you may receive a 50% refund of all but the Application Fee.
Payments can be made by cash, check, credit card or money order. We accept VISA, Mastercard and Discover. We do not accept American Express.
