Annual Meeting of Hoyt Arboretum Friends
Wednesday, April 18, 2007, 5:30 – 6 PM at Hoyt Arboretum Visitor Center
Directors and officers for 2007-2008 will be elected by Hoyt Arboretum Friends’ members at the Annual Meeting. You may print out this page and submit your ballot by mail, drop it by the Visitor Center anytime prior to April 18th, or bring it to the Annual Meeting. The Annual Meeting will be immediately followed by a Board of Directors meeting.
Candidates for election
Jennifer Blair
Jennifer is currently a full-time mother and walks regularly in the Arboretum with her family.
Andrew Fowler
Andrew runs the trails in the Arboretum regularly and sometimes moves at a slower pace when he has his twin 2-year old sons with him. Andrew is a public relations consultant with clients around the country. Andrew has served on Hoyt’s Marketing Committee since 2003.
Candidates for re-election
Zanley Galton
Zanley walks daily with his wife in the Arboretum. For the last 25 years he has been the CEO of The Western Group, a manufacturing company in Northwest Portland. He is currently Chairman of the Western Group.
Marsha Trump
Marsha has served on the Board since 2003. Prior to her Board service, Marsha conducted a comprehensive analysis of how other arboreta and botanical gardens are funded throughout the U.S. Marsha is the Assistant Director of Admissions at Catlin Gabel School and has also previously practiced in both her professions of law and nursing.
Bill Warner
Bill has served on the Hoyt Arboretum Friends Board since 2003 and prior to that, he had contributed his public relations and marketing expertise as a volunteer on the Marketing Committee. Bill is Vice President of strategic communications for VTM, Inc.
