A cozy, immersive experience among Hoyt’s winter holly & evergreens!
Hosted in the stillness of mid-winter, this workshop invites participants to slow down and gently reconnect with their senses within Hoyt Arboretum’s holly and conifer collections. Through candlelit reflection, guided sensory practices, and intuitive art-making, we explore what winter teaches us about rest, protection, and cultivating inner warmth.

You will learn: Sensory-awareness practices rooted in nature therapy – Techniques for creating gentle, expressive, winter-inspired art – How to use candlelight and reflections on seasonal cultural celebrations as grounding anchors for self-care

You will leave with: Handmade sensory-based artworks – Renewed inspiration from Hoyt Arboretum’s winter landscape – A deeper sense of calm, presence, and connection to the season’s quiet magic

  • Space is limited; please register online
  • Registration closes Sunday, February 8th at 8am
  • Class reminder & details will be emailed closer to the program date
