There is something for children of all ages at Hoyt Arboretum! We offer a variety of nature programs for youth, families, schools, and other groups, as well as self-led activities to get everyone engaged with the natural world:
- Tree Time! children ages 2-6 accompanied by an adult explore nature together every Monday and Saturday morning.
- Seasonal Activities provide experiments, fact sheets, and more for self-paced discovery.
- Free Discovery Packs are full of tools to help your family engage with the Arboretum plants and animals.
- School field trips are available for guided and self-guided experiences on the Arboretum trails.
- Forest Field Day homeschool program for ages 5-14 every second Thursday and Friday.
- Pop-Up Nature! shares different science topics through self-led activities during the summer months.
