Using invasive English ivy, we’ll transform this ubiquitous plant into something unique. Using a basic basket making technique, we’ll create artistic and useful objects. You will leave the workshop with your ivy creation, and the know-how to make interesting things from one of the Pacific Northwest’s most problematic introduced plants.
- Class size is limited and pre-registration is required
- Registration closes Friday, May 22nd at 4:00pm
- Additional details will be emailed one week prior to the program
About the Instructor: Lise has been a restoration volunteer for over a decade. After pulling ivy for several years, Lise begrudgingly came to appreciate English ivy’s strength and flexibility, and enjoys transforming ivy from an annoying tree damager (she is also an arborist) into useful, sculptural objects.
