Arborists in the Arboretum

Our 38th Annual Arborists in the Arboretum was a huge success!

On September 6, 2025, Hoyt Arboretum Friends hosted our 38th annual Arborists in the Arboretum event! It was an amazing morning at Hoyt, with more 133 volunteers including professional arborists from 37 companies caring for 47 trees at 26 sites around the park.

Hoyt’s Curator, Martin’s wish list of arborist jobs accumulates over the year, and some critical, specialized care was performed that day to make the Arboretum safer and more accessible for everyone!
