Guided Tours

Guided Tours

Exploring Hoyt Arboretum’s 189 acres on our 12 miles of trail isn’t just a hike – it’s a worldwide tour of trees from around the globe.

The Arboretum is open year-round for self-guided hikes, aided by placards indicating tree species. Interpretive signs along your walk offer more information about the various collections. Pick up a free map in the Visitor Center to find suggested routes or download the map online.

Public Tours

General public tours about Hoyt Arboretum’s global collection of trees, hiking trail system, and history are held every Sunday at 1pm from May through September. Reserve your spot in-person the day of the tour at the front desk inside the Visitor Center. Please arrive early, these tours are free and fill-up quickly!
Tours are 60 minutes with up to 15 participants per tour.
Accessibility: Public tours are for everyone.  Paved and compact dirt trails are options to support the abilities of all participants.
