Casey Clapp, of the podcast Completely Arbortrary, will lead a walk around Hoyt Arboretum’s tree collection and spotlight trees from six different continents of the world (we have to skip Antarctica). He will share what makes each tree thrive in its environment as well as key conservation concepts. This walk is sure to be filled with curious facts, stories, and ecological intrigue as you weave your way through the Arboretum and the world.

About the instructor: Casey Clapp is the co-creator and co-host of the podcast Completely Arbortrary, a weekly podcast about trees and other related topics. An ISA Board Certified Master Arborist, Casey is a modern naturalist focused on education and science communication centered around trees and their impact on the world around them. He specializes in urban forestry and arboriculture and is passionate about sharing his love of trees with the people around him.
