The Trees For All Public Tour explores Hoyt Arboretum from accessible paved trails. The tour loops around the Visitor Center and parking lot and then continutes onto the Overlook Trail. A gentle incline leads to an optional lookout point with a (weather-permitting) view of Mt. Saint Helens and Mt. Rainier. Tour highlights include oaks, beeches, native shrubs and conifers, and an overview of the conservation and community science work conducted by the Arboretum.
This tour is reserved for people who are disabled, chronically ill, neurodivergent, and/or have lived experience of any disability, broadly defined. Supportive family, friends, and caregivers are also welcome.
Trees For All Tours are led by trained volunteers every third Thursday and Sunday of the month at 10:00am, May through October.

What to Bring:
- Please bring whatever you need to comfortably spend an hour outside. Mobility devices, sensory aids, adaptive/medical equipment, and water/snacks are encouraged.
- We ask that participants follow our dog policy outlined in the Education Program Policies. Service animals trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities are welcome.
- Public tours are held rain or shine. Participants should dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes if walking. Please note that the Arboretum is at higher elevation and therefore cooler than much of the surrounding city. Check current conditions at Hoyt Arboretum’s Weather Station on Weather Underground.
