Owls never fail to fascinate and amaze us, and an encounter with one is always memorable. This workshop will introduce you to the owls of the Pacific Northwest, their life histories, and how you can become a better owl watcher.

About the instructor: Longtime birder and teacher Laura Whittemore loves to show beginners the tricks of the trade. She has taught classes for Portland Audubon and previously worked for Backyard Bird Shop. Laura holds a BA in Biology from Lewis and Clark College and has traveled in the US, Australia, South Africa, and Antarctica in search of birds.

The Zoom meeting link will be emailed before the program and you will receive a link of the live recording the day after the program.
