Need a beautiful place to display your nature collection? Join Angela Ruggles from The Nature Atelier and make a unique curio shelf out of clay. In this workshop, we will turn a slab of clay into a piece of art using hand building techniques. Each participant will create a small shelf (approximately 9 X 11 inches) with custom nooks for nature treasures. The pieces will be dried, fired, and returned at a later date.
- Space is limited, pre-registration is required
- Registration closes May, 18th at 4:00pm
- Fee includes $20 for material costs
About the instructor: Angela Ruggles is a nature and art educator and certified yoga instructor (RYT 500 & RCYT). She is the founder of The Nature Atelier, where she explores art, movement, and the environment to inspire a passion for protecting the planet. Angela has a background in museum education and paleoethnobotany and is a self-taught artist. She received an MS in International Museum Studies and a MA in Anthropological Archaeology.
