Join our Naturalist Educator on an exploratory walk around Hoyt Arboretum. Learn a new skill with the whole family. These walks are open to youth ages 5-12 ages (children must be accompanied by an adult) and all levels of birding knowledge welcome. Please bring binoculars if you have them, some will be available to borrow as well.
Ticket price includes one student with their parent.
*This program is limited to a maximum of five children accompanied with their guardian, and will follow all social distancing and safety protocols dictated by the Oregon Health Administration. Please see below.
Stay home if you, a member in your household, or anyone you have been in contact with has any of these symptoms:
Fever or chills
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Muscle or body aches
New loss of taste or smell
Maintain physical distance of at least (6) six feet between you and people who you do not live with.
All participants must wear a face covering at all times.
Standards Hoyt Arboretum will follow:
No more than 10 participants, plus the instructor
Choose locations with plenty of room to spread out
Strive to avoid crowded trails
Prioritize locations with trails at least 6-feet wide
No sharing of educational supplies or tools
