For active, experienced hikers (55+). The last senior hike of the season will be shorter than usual and with more stops to visit some of the trees with the most fantastic and beautiful fall color. Be prepared for hills, narrow trails, loose gravel, and a steady moderate group pace.
Distance: 2 miles, Target Pace: 2 miles/hour. Meet at the Visitor Center, and plan for 3 hours of paid parking.
Hikers should come prepared for the weather, including appropriate footwear and raingear if needed. Registration is encouraged.
