Explore the walking trails of Hoyt Arboretum with a trained, volunteer tour guide. You will visit some of our most fascinating trees from all over the world, learn about the history of the space, experience many of the PNW native plants, and much more.
Public tours are held rain or shine. Dress for the weather, and wear comfortable shoes for walking on trails. The route is approximately 1 mile and will include some ups and downs along the way. Most of the tour route will travel on well-graded packed dirt or gravel trails.
Masks are not required for outdoor programs in Portland parks but are encouraged indoors. If you are feeling any COVID-19 symptoms, please stay safe and stay home.
A Global Tree Collection is a free guided tour, but registration is required (group size is limited). Meet at the Hoyt Arboretum Visitor Center.
