Celebrate the spring equinox with a group hike at Hoyt!
Join Rover Tom for an enlightening and exhilarating experience on Hoyt Arboretum’s trails. He’ll lead the way through the Arboretum’s beautiful Conifer Collection then continue north on the Wildwood Trail to hike across the new Barbara Walker Crossing into Forest Park. From there, the hike will lead to the Pittock Mansion grounds and (hopefully…weather permitting!) to a spectacular view of Mount Hood.
Distance: 3.0 miles, Target Pace: 2.5 miles/hour. Meet at the Visitor Center.
The hike will occur rain or shine. Hikers should come prepared for the weather, including appropriate footwear and rain gear if needed. Registration is encouraged.
