Join a group hike from the Hoyt Arboretum Visitor Center to the brand new Barbara Walker Crossing, a new bridge over Burnside that connects the Wildwood Trail between Hoyt Arboretum and Pittock Mansion. The hike will go from the Visitor Center to the bridge and then back to the Visitor Center using the Arboretum’s trail system.
This guided hike is being scheduled in conjunction with the Portland Parks Foundation’s grand opening ceremony for the Barbara Walker Crossing on Saturday, October 27. You can learn more about the event here.
Distance: 2-2.5 miles, Target Pace: 2 miles/hour. Meet at the Hoyt Arboretum Visitor Center at 4000 SW Fairview Blvd, Portland, OR 97221.
Hikers should come prepared for the weather, including appropriate footwear and rain gear if needed. Registration is encouraged.
