In this beginner-friendly workshop, hike to the Arboretum’s Magnolia collection to capture the magnificence of magnolia trees in bloom. With guidance from the instructor, students will spend approximately one and a half hours sketching the magnolia flowers and related tree elements, and will return to the classroom for the final hour of class to add watercolor tho their drawings. No experience is necessary. Please bring a size 8 or 10 round watercolor brush, a sketchbook of your choice, and any watercolor paints you own. There will be some paints available for class use.
