Embrace the zenith of summer by immersing yourself in the captivating world of Hoyt Arboretum through the art of photography. Join us for workshops that celebrate the season’s vibrant energy and natural beauty, capturing its essence through our lenses. Guided breathing, herbal refreshments, and thoughtful discussion will also be included.

Photographers of all levels, from beginners to experienced enthusiasts, are invited to embrace the spirit of invisible abundance and capture its magic through their lenses. Join us for a moment of creativity, connection, and the joy of photographing the Arboretum in its summer glory.

This week Clara-Julia will help participants bring the teeny-tiny natural world to view.

About the instructor: Clara-Julia Peru is a poet, photographer, artist, and nature guide from Marseille, France.  She currently teaches French language and culture at Pacific University.  She is working towards using her art and love of the outdoors as therapy to help others.

Accessibility: Participants will be on a mix of packed dirt, gravel, and paved trails. Hoyt Arboretum’s trails are well-graded but there is some elevation change (and occasionally stairs).
