This week at our Pop-Up Nature! Stations, we will have special guests Christopher Cousins and Isabel Justiniano from WREN– the Willamette Resources and Educational Network.

They will be talking about local wetland habitats and amphibians that can be found in Hoyt Arboretum! There will be hands-on activities as well as a special reading (in English and Spanish) and giveaway of Christopher and Isabel’s book Nuestra Casa.

Nuestra Casa was written in English and Spanish to encourage multilingual families to read together! Educators can use the book as a tool to provide early STEM education in multiple languages or to pair the book with outdoor activities, like salamander hunts! Activities and readings at this events will be in both English and Spanish.

Learn more about the authors here.

These are free, drop-in event. No need to register.
