Join environmental educator Roland Begin for a walk through ‘forest time’ to learn about the importance of fire and other disturbances to the health of different types of Pacific Northwest forests. We’ll look at specific trees and plants which are indicators of ecological succession that follow such events.
Tours occur rain or shine. Dress for the weather, wear comfortable shoes for walking on trails, and bring your camera to take photographs.
Registration is not required; please meet at the Visitor Center at 1:00 PM. Free for HAF members; $3 donation asked for non-members.
