In this workshop, instructor Ken Denniston will focus on rare native conifers and those that grow in other parts of the Pacific Northwest. We will compare them to the common northwest Oregon conifers and note the differences that enable us to identify each species. This workshop will include a presentation of photos of the rare conifers, a look at rare cones, and a tour of the native conifers found at Hoyt Arboretum.
