Come and sing amongst the trees! In this class, you will experience connection and harmony through singing with others in a natural setting.  The class will begin by gathering to sing simple songs inspired by nature.  Then participants will spend time gathering their own inspiration, through walking and observing in the nearby forest.  The group will gather again to build songs and rhythms based on what was observed. No singing experience is required. All songs will be taught by ear and the only thing needed is a willingness to sing and playfully collaborate with others and the forest muse.

About the instructor: Carole Marie is a song leader, music guide, and facilitator committed to sparking joy and creating connection through music. She leads ‘Simply Singing’, a monthly community song circle and facilitates workshops integrating music with writing. As a music guide, she teaches introductory ukulele and guitar with a passion for supporting beginners to trust and nurture their innate musicality. Carole Marie lives in Portland, Oregon and finds inspiration for music and life in the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
