Summer in Portland signifies warmth and rejuvenation. Join instructor Elizabeth Higgins to celebrate the Summer Solstice by building connection to your senses and soul. Elizabeth will guide you through mindfulness practices to honor the seasonal transition as well as time and space for exploring simple poetry forms such as Haiku. Please bring a journal or notebook, and something to write with.

About the instructor: Elizabeth Higgins is an art instructor and nature connection facilitator who develops and facilitates classes and workshops connecting people to nature, mindfulness and creativity. She is known for her calm, supportive teaching style, and her approach is centered on the beliefs that both nature and creative expression are necessary components of human well-being.
