Spend time at Hoyt Arboretum on Mondays in February to connect with nature through sketches, words and watercolor. Build your own Nature Journaling toolbox as you learn about supplies, techniques and creative approaches to keeping a nature journal. Demos and new inspiration will be shared each week. This program will take place indoors at the Visitor Center library so class size is limited. No experience is necessary.
- Pre-registration is required and includes all four dates: February 5, 12, 19, & 26
- Registration closes Sunday, February 4th at 12pm
About the instructor: Elizabeth Higgins is a watercolor artist and arts instructor who develops and facilitates classes and workshops connecting people to nature, mindfulness and creativity. She is known for her calm, supportive teaching style, and her approach is centered on the beliefs that both nature and creative expression are necessary components of human well-being.
