This is a new program catered to youth 5+, all ages welcome.
Created and led by Juno Chimera (he/they), Equity Nature Educator at Hoyt Arboretum Friends, serving through AmeriCorps and Confluence Environmental.
In this workshop series, we will engage in a number of hands-on activities, attuning our senses to the ways in which birds communicate and exist amongst us. We will also explore some of the critical roles birds play in our ecosystems.
In session, we will tune in with our ears, practicing some bird identification through sound, as well as gaining insight into the contextual meanings behind different kinds of calls.
This workshop is offered on Zoom. Attendees who sign up will receive a link and login information before workshop.
