Use watercolor pigments and leaves collected in nature to create gorgeous fall leaf prints suitable for framing. In this class, we will paint directly on real leaves and stamp with them onto watercolor paper. Gather 6 – 8 leaves with various sizes and interesting shapes that you have found on the sidewalk or in your yard. They may be collected ahead of class time and keep moist between damp paper towels in the refrigerator. Supplies needed: leaves, watercolor paper, several watercolor pigments in shades of red, yellow and golden brown, paintbrush. A rolling pin or brayer is optional.
All lectures will be recorded and available to participants for 48hrs following the class.
