Why hire a certified arborist?
Certification ensures that arborists are experienced professionals who have passed an extensive examination covering all aspects of tree care. Hoyt Arboretum’s Arborist Members are all certified by and members of the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA).For more information about this certification, see: www.isa-arbor.com. To verify an arborist’s business license contact the City of Portland at 503-823-5157 or the Oregon State Construction Contractors Board at 503-378-4621.
