Wedding Meadow

wedmed.jpgHoyt Arboretum’s Wedding Meadow offers the feel of wilderness within an urban area and is available for full-day rental.

The Wedding Meadow is located off Hoyt Arboretum’s Spruce Trail, about 1/3 mile from the Visitor Center. This rustic wooded setting is away from the main roads, with no buildings or structures visible offering the feel of wilderness within an urban area.

  • Located off the Spruce Trail where it meets the Fir Trail, away from the main roads with no buildings or structures visible
  • Capacity for 100 people
  • Not ADA accessible but elderly and disabled persons may be driven to the site via the access road Bray Lane
  • Does not have electricity, water or bathroom facilities available

Wedding Meadow Fees for 2019

Full-day (8am-9pm): $285.00

Combined with Redwood Deck Rental: $404.00

Stevens Pavilion Picnic Shelter

Surrounded by Douglas firs, the covered picnic shelter is within walking distance of the Hoyt Arboretum Visitor Center where restrooms and a bus stop are located.

Wedding Meadow

This rustic, wooded glen is located 1/3 mile from the Visitor Center and main roads and offers the feel of wilderness without leaving the city.  

Redwood Deck

Nestled among redwoods and sequoias, this natural wood deck offers a serene getaway for intimate gatherings. 

Bill deWeese Classroom

Located in the Hoyt Arboretum Visitor Center this pleasant room is ideal for meetings, retreats, and small events. Large windows look out upon colorful plantings and distant evergreens.
